Workshop For The Administration Staff And Few Teachers On 'LOVE Yourself'
We office staff, along with teachers were given an opportunity to attend a Personality Development Workshop which was conducted by a very energetic and enthusiastic resource person, "Clarissa Jathanna"

The workshop was basically on giving time to ‘Yourself’ which we usually don’t do. Probably Indian ladies are tuned to be like that. We always keep our children, spouse, and parents ahead of us. We make ourselves believe that we have keep going 24 x 7 for our family, as the moment we stop the house comes to a standstill. It is true to some extent but we need to understand that they can survive without us, but most of us enjoy taking care of the family, doing small little chores for our children. So her emphasis was on the fact that inspite of all this we must do pursue what we always wanted to do, age no bar.

Mrs. Clarissa showed us some clipping and quotes from the famous book “The Secret” written by Rhonda Byrne who describes these thoughts in a very beautiful way. Post lunch there were few fun activities which we enjoyed doing, there was a race amongst us to complete the task first and a child was seen in all of us. These activities again taught us the importance and value of ‘Team Work’ and Co-ordination.

Altogether it was a very interesting and refreshing fun activity after which at least we realized ‘Yes’ there is nothing wrong in becoming a child even though it was for a short period of time.

Concluding this we would like to thank Madam for giving us opportunity to attend to such encouraging and motivated workshop and also thanks to Mrs. Clarissa for being an eye opener.

Hope to get more chances to attend to such workshops.

The speaker was confident, enthusiastic and cordial. The success mantra of 'Love Yourself First' was effectively conveyed through an audio-visual medium. However, the speaker reiterated on 'Self Motivational Techniques' and 'Positive and Negative Attitude'.

The post lunch session was engaging as the speaker conducted activities to reinforce the topics dealt with earlier.
The workshop could have been more enriching if the speaker would have enlightened us on topics unknown to us.
