The school conducted an Inter-House Dance Competition – 'JHANAK' on July 22, 2011. The competition was held in our New Assembly Hall. More than 160 students took part in this competition which was conducted in the following three categories:

ALPHA HOUSE presented a devotional dance based on a Dramatic representation of a mythological story of Sati and Shiva. The dance involved various episodes such as Shiva-Sati dance sequence, fire dance and concluded with Raudra Tandava of Shiva.

BETA HOUSE took a radical approach to their devotion. Devotion through love, through inner conscience and through complete immersion bringing about the devotion for Lord Krishna through the eyes of different people in different situations like those of Meera, Sudama, Surdas, Radha, Gopis, Arjuna etc. They selected the chain of songs on Lord Krishna rendered in different style. The dances were set by the senior students of Beta House.

DELTA HOSUE performed their devotional dance on the theme of ‘Ma Shakti’. Maa Shakti is the eternal force, endless female energy that is at the root of the changing world. During this presentation they represent Devi Durga a destroyer of the demon who was originated from a buffalo which represents the animal nature in us. In this form Maa Durga is called Mahishasura Mardini.
