 Code of Conduct
  • Pupils must be neat in appearance and wear the regular school uniform during school hours and when travelling to and from the scool. The school uniform includes the Identity Card /Badge /Tie and the specified socks and shoes.
  • Pupils entering the school at any time on any day must be in full school uniform.
  • Running and shouting in the school building is not allowed. Students returning from the lunch shed, laboratories, the computer room, the gymnasiums, the playing field and the art room are to go to their class rooms quietly, take their seats immediately and get ready for the next class. Students should be in time for classes and be ready for work when the bell rings. Students are not permitted to loiter outside classrooms or laboratories when classes are in session. Pupils must keep to the left when using the stairs and corridors.
  • No ball games are allowed in the school building.
  • Eating on the stairs and in the corridors is not allowed.
  • Snacks must be eaten in the lunch area and refuse put in the receptacles provided. Students are not allowed to chew gum or consume eatables during class hours.
  • Care should be taken to keep the building clean. Litter should be put into the bins provided for the purpose.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited.
  • Pupils who expect to return home late must inform their parents in advance.
  • Care must be taken of all school property. Students must not write on the walls or furniture or carve names on the wood-work. All breakages must be reported to the class teacher / Principal. The cost of repairs to school property will be recovered from the pupil.
  • Pupils may not take part in any public show or competition or join any classes unless such an activity is approved of by the Principal in advance. No permission will be given if it interferes with the functioning of the school.
  • No pupils may bring to school more than Rs. 50/- on any day as pocket money.
  • No pupil may leave the premises during school hours without the prior permission of the Principal.
  • Students are requested to be in school punctually at 8:20 a.m.
  • At no time should be teacher’s desk or cupboard be used without permission.
  • Students are requested to keep their classrooms neat and attractive at all times giving due attention to the bulletin boards, black boards and other classroom equipment and furniture.
  • Any pupil who is persistently insubordinate, willfully mischievous or is guilty of malpractices in connection with examinations or has committed acts of serious indiscipline and / or misbehaviour or who in the opinion of the Principal has an unwholesome influence on his fellow pupils may be expelled permanently or removed for a specified period by the Principal.
  • Pupils must participate in all school activities unless excused by the Principal on a written request from the parent / guardian.
